Good morning, Lowes Island families! Happy Monday! We have a few reminders this week.
Please remember to open and read emails from PeachJar! PeachJar is the school's communication platform of
choice. You will receive important updates from the county, school, and the PTO in PeachJar emails. This
includes the monthly PTO newsletter. The PTO will also send email directly to it's members (like this one) and
the PTO website will be updated regularly as well.

Lowes Island Elementary School will receive 20% of the proceeds collected during the event. We hope to see you there!
Odyssey of the Mind
The PTO is hosting an informational meeting this Tuesday, 9/26 at 7PM in the Lowes Island ES Library.

Coin Collection Benefiting the American Red Cross
Thanks to your generosity, the PTO raised $860 to help recent hurricane victims! Please help us reach our goal
of $2000. There is still time to donate! The collection runs through this Friday, 9/30. Bins are labeled by grade
level and located in the main foyer of the school.

Coat and Halloween Costume Drive
Leopards Lending a Hand, the Lowes Island ES PTO's Community Outreach Program, will be collecting
new/gently used coats and Halloween costumes for local schools in need. Donation bins will be located in the
main foyer of the school, right in front of the library 10/2 - 10/13.
